OUR CLASSES
At SALT Pilates Delray Beach, every class is taught with our mission in mind: to Strengthen, Align, Lengthen, and Tone your whole body. We offer a variety of classes at different levels so everyone can find the experience that supports where they are on their Pilates journey. Each class is 55 minutes, can host up to 12 participants, and will utilize the Reformer in addition to other props and apparatuses. No matter which class you choose, our experienced instructors are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment, ensuring that you can progress at your own pace.

PILATES FOUNDATIONS
Our Pilates Foundations class is perfect for anyone new to Reformer Pilates. It’s also ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of Pilates Principles and individuals with a primary goal of moving smarter. In this class, we teach the value of proper alignment, core engagement, and breath control while introducing foundational Pilates exercises. This class will help you to improve your mind-body awareness and teach you to move more mindfully so that you can reap all the benefits of Pilates and reduce the risk of injury. If you choose to advance through your Pilates practice, this class will help you form a foundation to help you be successful.

INTERMEDIATE REFORMER
Our Intermediate Reformer class is designed for individuals who have built an understanding of Pilates Foundations and are ready to challenge their strength, stability, balance, flexibility, control, and coordination. Instructors will combine traditional Pilates exercises with more advanced techniques to provide a full body work out. Participants should have a solid understanding of basic Reformer movements and be prepared for a challenging workout that emphasizes proper form and alignment. This class encourages engagement of the entire body which will challenge mind-body awareness and improve core strength and posture.

ADVANCED REFORMER
Our Advanced Reformer class is for individuals with ample Reformer experience who want to elevate their practice and challenge their athletic capabilities on the Reformer. Anyone taking this class should have advanced level mind-body awareness, balance, and coordination to be able to follow along safely. Clients can expect an increased level of intensity with new movements that require a broad understanding of Pilates principles to be successful. This class demands a higher level of physical fitness and will improve overall strength, stability, and control.

JUMPBOARD REFORMER
Our Jumpboard class is a fun and energetic class for those already familiar with the Reformer looking to add an element of cardio into their Pilates practice. This class utilizes the Reformer Jumpboard to provide a great workout that challenges endurance and coordination. In addition to jumping, clients can expect to spend a portion of the class doing other exercises that will improve their strength, core stability, and mind-body awareness.

ABS & BOOTY REFORMER
Our Abs & Booty Reformer class is an Intermediate level class designed to “bring the burn”! This class utilizes the Reformer in addition to the Bosu, bands, gliders, and other props to strengthen and tone the core and glute muscles. Participants can expect a variety of exercises taught with a higher level of intensity that incorporate resistance and controlled movements. This class prioritizes form and mindful movement while challenging strength and endurance.

RESTORATIVE STRETCH
Our Restorative Stretch class is designed to promote relaxation, flexibility, and recovery through gentle movements using the Reformer and foam roller. Clients will be guided to lengthen the spine and stretch various muscles, enhancing blood flow and releasing tension in the body. This class is suitable for all levels and is recommended for everyone to incorporate into their routine, whether you move a lot or not enough.

Pilates for Seniors & Injuries
Our Pilates class for Seniors and those with Injuries focuses on gentle movements that enhance strength, flexibility, and balance. The Reformer will provide resistance while supporting the body in a safe manner, making it suitable for various fitness levels and physical limitations. In this class, exercises are typically modified to accommodate specific needs, ensuring that participants can perform movements without pain or strain. The low-impact nature of Reformer Pilates minimizes the risk of injury while promoting rehabilitation and overall wellness. Instructors will emphasize alignment and proper breathing techniques, as well as core strength, which is crucial for stability and everyday activities.
